We sell fragrances and related fragrance products through our website.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, fragrance notes, colours, sizes and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
However, photographs are provided for illustrative purposes and the appearance of packaging, labels or bottles may vary slightly from images displayed online.
Fragrance is subjective. Individual perceptions of a fragrance can vary depending on skin type, body chemistry, environment and personal preference. A customer not liking a fragrance or finding that it smells different on their skin does not necessarily mean that the product is faulty or not as described.
All fragrance products supplied by us are intended for their stated purpose and should be used in accordance with any instructions and precautions provided with the product.
3. Fragrance Safety
Perfume is intended for external use only.
Customers should follow all safety instructions and warnings supplied with the product.
Avoid contact with eyes and broken or irritated skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Keep fragrance away from children, heat, flames and other sources of ignition.
Customers should check the ingredients and product information before use, particularly if they have known allergies or sensitivities.
We cannot accept responsibility for an allergic reaction or irritation resulting from a customer’s failure to check the ingredients, warnings or instructions supplied with the product.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your legal rights in relation to unsafe or defective products.
4. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected by you.
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email acknowledging that we have received your order.
This confirmation does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
A contract between you and us is formed when we confirm that your order has been accepted and/or when we dispatch the products to you.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including where:
- a product is unavailable;
- there is an obvious pricing or product description error;
- we suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity; or
- we are unable to fulfil the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will provide a full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled order.
5. Product Availability
We aim to keep our website information up to date. However, products may occasionally become unavailable.
If a product you have ordered becomes unavailable, we will contact you where reasonably possible and may offer an alternative or provide a refund for the unavailable product.
6. Prices
All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£), unless otherwise stated.
The price payable for your order is the price displayed at the time you place your order.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Any price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.

We do not store full payment-card details where payment is processed by an external payment provider.
8. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within the delivery timeframe stated on our website.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal delays, courier delays, severe weather, strikes or other unforeseen events.
You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address.
We are not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you.

We will comply with applicable UK consumer laws regarding delivery.
9. Risk and Delivery
Responsibility for the goods passes to you when you, or a person nominated by you who is not the delivery carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.
If you arrange for a carrier independently of the delivery options we offer, responsibility may pass to you when the goods are handed to that carrier, where permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
10. Cancellations and Returns
If you purchase products online, you generally have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason.
If you wish to exercise this right, you should contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.
After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you generally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Returned goods should be sent back securely and, where possible, in their original packaging.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods where the law permits us to require this.
We will refund the applicable amount within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or, where permitted by law, within 14 days of you providing evidence that the goods have been returned.
Where required by law, refunds will include the cost of standard delivery originally paid by you. We are not required to refund additional delivery costs where you selected a more expensive delivery option.
11. Sealed Fragrance Products
For health and hygiene reasons, certain fragrance products may not be eligible for cancellation once their sealed packaging has been opened, where this falls within the applicable legal exception.
This may include sealed perfume products where the seal has been broken or the product has been opened.
You are still entitled to your statutory rights if a product is faulty, damaged, unsafe or not as described.
If you are unsure whether a product can be returned, please contact us before opening it.
12. Products That Are Faulty, Damaged or Not as Described
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
Products supplied by us must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at info@formulafragrances.co.uk
Please provide:
- your order number;
- your name;
- a description of the problem; and
- photographs where appropriate.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may offer a repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.
We will not refuse a legitimate statutory claim simply because the normal returns period has passed.
13. Damage During Delivery
If your order arrives visibly damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs of the packaging and product.
We will investigate the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
Customers should not dispose of damaged packaging or products until we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate the issue.
14. Exchanges
Where permitted by law, we may offer an exchange for an alternative fragrance.
Any voluntary exchange policy offered by us does not replace or restrict your statutory rights.
15. Refunds
Where a refund is due, we will normally refund the original payment method used to place the order.
We will not charge an administration fee for a refund where such a charge would be prohibited by law.
Where goods have been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may be entitled to make a deduction for any resulting loss in value, where permitted by law.
16. Promotional Discounts and Offers
From time to time, we may offer promotional codes, discounts or special offers.
Unless otherwise stated:
- promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
- only one promotional code may be used per order;
- promotional codes may have expiry dates;
- promotional codes may be subject to minimum order values or other conditions; and
- we reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where there is a legitimate reason to do so.
Any specific conditions displayed alongside a promotion will apply to that promotion.
17. Gift Cards and Store Credit
If Formula Fragrances offers gift cards or store credit, any specific terms applying to those products will be displayed at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, gift cards and store credit cannot be exchanged for cash.
